Hi,

I use about 2ah per mils or 330W/hr per mile and work is 30 miles each way &
charge at work (about 60ah down on the 130ah batts). Sometimes I drop to
90-100ah down (on LinkPro Xantrex meter) about once a week when I have extra
errands on the way home. The pack gets charged close to 100% on each cycle
twice daily. Sometimes I run out at lunch for parts, (that's where the 70
miles daily comes from.) I have 20k miles right now onthe pack and the battery
scanner shows no low cells. I made my own balancers on www.evdl.org/lib/mh
linked to the charger, when any one cell hits 3.6V the charger (ferro-resonant
Lester type transformer) cuts back to 2A. If any one cell hits 4.0V, stop
charge & display OV fault (scanner catches which one). When all are 3.6V or
DV/DT=0 stop.

Hi Ben etc,

I'm in Roanoke, VA (see below) & charge/discharge twice daily, 60-70 miles
total per workday about 350 miles per week. On week-ends I run errands Sat &
Sun about 16-30 miles. The batts are just mounted on the erector set bracketing
you get at Lowe's, no special heating/cooling.

Hi Mark,

Can you comment on how aggressively you use your batteries? What climate are
you in?
Do you cool/heat the batteries?

I have the same batteries so I'm curious.

thx

 Hi Ben etc,

I charge to 3.6V per cell dv/dt=0 similar charger I've used on Pb and ni-cads,
when the voltage stops rising on the entire pack .01VPC = stop.
