Sorry... it appears I misspoke.  The VW beetle I've been working on has a
#2 kit from Evolks, not Wilderness EV  http://e-volks.com/about2.html?  The
 Wilderness kit does appear much more capable.  They were both from Utah so
I just assumed it was the same... but no.  Sorry about that.

A roadgoing ICE is any internal combustion engine vehicle that you could
take on the highway.
we tend to call them ICE's to differentiate them from EV's (electric
vehicles).
