Ouch! That does look like hard work, well done. The longest journey I've made is a semi-regular trip to Aberdeen. Exactly 100 miles there, and 100 miles back, average speed around 45. 6 hours or so to charge while I'm there - I just don't find on-route charging to be worth the stress of finding it not working or the boredom of waiting for it.
