Likely an error Martin realized after he hit send & since I have not
posted this in a while, I will repeat just to hammer home the
clarification.

I am not the evdl.org System Administrator, David is

I am just a regular evdl subscriber and user, same as most, but I do use
more bandwidth than most. That is why I have a self imposed limitation
of only two newswire posts going to subscribing evdl members intrays,
and the rest going to the evdl nabble archive.
When I need help, I ask David, same as most evdl subscribed members do =
just a regular evdl user with no special powers.

Fun-Fact:

Bruce used to write 15-20 years ago. Good memories.<

David's comment is referring to when I started the term AmpAbout many
years ago. One of the major purposes of purchasing my EV was to document
my daily driving and ensuing EV adventurous (and there were many though
they have been wiped off the Internet). Only the EV old-timers, like
David, know of them.

Way-way back then, I decided to create & use a term to preface these
type of posts (EV adventures/the real-deal) as, at the time, the media
was not interested in them (they were paid to hate EVs). I chose
AmpAbout in a similar use as the Aussie term WalkAbout:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walkabout
only instead of walking, I was burning up Amps, as the nedra.com folk
would say, and as a rite of passage, sometimes driving in the EVSE-less
wilderness, ... thus AmpAbout.
