I personally wouldn't trust the 5/16 bolts for anything more than what my
tractor dishes out.  (Maybe 200A briefly, flexy cables.)  Even then I'm
very careful not to over-torque the nuts and check them regularly.  550
amps and stiff 2/0 cable is a recipe for a melted post.  L posts or
automotive posts are what you need.  (Do NOT try those screw-on automotive
post adapters for the bolts - they are a joke.)

If it was me I'd find a shop with someone skilled at molding new posts and
convert yours.  L posts are probably preferable so you can re-use your
cables (which are not cheap to replace), but I've never heard of molding L
posts - only auto posts.
