Exactly. Imagine if Ford had its own gas stations which were the only places to 
fill Ford vehicles and which only let Ford vehicles use the pumps, and the same 
with Toyota, VW, and every other manufacturer. Pure chaos and insanity.

However, I'm sure there's some interbreeding between the marketing departments 
for printer ink and cell phone charger manufacturers and electric vehicle 
makers, so I wouldn't at all be surprised to see EVs fall into the trap that 
they're already rushing towards....
