Mark, I (we?) don’t have issues with that. The issue is that the Mirai is not an EV because it isn't fueled with electricity. If it had an OBC or other method to charge the batteries from an external source then it would be a plug in hybrid. The Mirai did not set an EV record though it may have set a zero emission record.
