I only have the issue with the cid= on the electrak.co links. It doesn’t seem to matter what browser I use.

My observations using LinuxMint/Thunderbird/Firefox: The nabble link worked. The electrek link on the nabble page worked and did not seem to have the "cid=" cruft. The above electrek link failed. Manually removing the tail end cruft allowed the link to work.
