On Endless Sphere there were plenty people (many Australians for some reason) who drove these bikes a lot and while I have heard about a worn out motor that needed replacement, I have not heard about problems with the controller or motor from overload. No fires in the original configuration as NiMH is rather forgiving. I don’t know statistics about converted bikes with Lithium. It is several years since I last checked into the Vectrix. Cor.

I have been keeping an eye out, but they are very rare even searching out 400+ miles from my location. Still they deserve a second chance wherever possible. Silly question but given how far they pushed the chargers and batteries were there any fires? And did they push the motor as well?
