So you bought the wrong car for your mileage needs. Is that Nissan's
fault?
Nissan put out a lot of bad batteries and then resisted making them
good. The when new range was just as advertised and I was a happy Leaf
owner for more than a year. The failure to support their bad batteries
is inexcusable, IMHO. Just as with GM's nefarious doings with the EV1,
current prospective buyers should be aware of previous performance.
If you insist on "papering over" previous transgressions, you can expect
some push back.
There are reasons old Leafs are attractively priced. Prospective buyers
are best served by being aware of the reasons
