I am reminded of the comparison of how many acres it takes to fuel a horse compared to a Prius. A conservative bull$hit article included gas cars as much more environmentally friendly (though I forget the twisted logic they used).
But they compared apples to oranges. I calculated that a single acre of land with solar panels could fuel 100 EV's to the average American 40 miles a day FOREVER. For sure, an EV is far more environmentally friendly than a horse.
