GM's most egregious sin was NOT abandoning the EV1. It was denying the use of the very serviceable NiMH chemistry in EVs for about ten years. The development of EVs was set back about 10 years.
Knowing and understanding that history, I will never be a GM customer. Nissan's dishonorable conduct on warranties pales.
I have come to believe that Bruce is correct. There are forces at work to obscure and revise history. Bruce's goal, as I understand, is to make sure historic facts are preserved. I see much effort to recharacterize the facts of the history of NiMH in EV use.
