I agree that V2G would only be a selling point if your power company is going 
to pay you a significant sum to make it available.

However, most of this thread has been discussing V2H, V2B and/or V2X rather 
than V2G

As far as I know, the only EVs that currently support V2G are those with Chadmo 
connections and then only if you have a EVSE that supports it.
Most, if not all, of the upcomig EV pickups will support non-gridtied V2X, and 
several other EVs also will support it using onboard 120V/240V inverters.

Lots of other folks have even created DIY backup power by connecting 12V 
inverters to an EVs 12V aux battery and then using the vehicles DC-DC to pull 
power from the main pack.

Most(all?) HD/Lowes stores have a panel saw and will cut the plywood for you 
for free. Just sayin'.
