It has not happened to my 2020. 
I also own a 2013 LEAF with the pack upgraded to 62 kWh by EVRides LLC. 
I would not advocate for a leaf as you’ll never get bolt range due to lack of 
thermal battery conditioning. My wife’s bolt will always kick my leaf’s butt 
and it can’t be traced to a 3 kWh pack advantage in the bolt!
