It appears my earlier message announcing a draft of my book didn't
make it to the list server. Here it is again. I'm back from holidays
now, in case anyone noticed my absence!

Cheers

I'd like at announce the availability of a draft of my book "Theory of
Nothing". It discusses a lot of the topics we have talked about on
this list over the years (in my own partisan approach, naturally :),
referencing in many places everything-list posts that I've thought
crucial.

Please take a look at the book - I welcome constructive criticism of
any sort. Make sure I haven't slandered anyone (I've tried to present
competing viewpoints fairly, but sometimes I may misunderstand). I'm
aiming the readership to someone who excelled at high school science,
so I usually either cited more technical arguments, or placed them
into appendices at the end. I welcome suggestions for clearer
expression also. Possibly there is room for more technical material
(eg some of the unpublished position papers on the list)

You can pick up your copy at

http://parallel.hpc.unsw.edu.au/rks/theory-of-nothing.pdf

its about 700KB in size.

I will be away in Queensland for the next week, so don't expect
responses from me for a week or so.

Cheers
