We do have empirical reasons (quantum mechanics) that "physical reality" is the result of interfering computable waves. Now, why comp makes this necessary (not just empirically inferable) is what I try to explain to the list since sometime (and that relies in fine on some not so well known results in theoretical computer science). I can only ask you to read carefully either old posts, or my papers, or to follow carefully futures explanations.
