Right, and QTI isn't even much of a comfort in terms of avoiding your own death, as there are no guarantees about the quality of the surviving continuations. I remember Bruno saying once (paraphrasing) "consciousness is a prison". The one comfort I do enjoy from it - to the extent that I place any faith in it - is not fearing dying in a plane crash.
