Stephen, Strictly speaking I could agree with that because only the current point of that dimension actually exists. See my explanation in detail in my previous post in this thread.
However the trace of past time does qualify as a dimension, if you want to define it as such, but that past trace does not exist. So if you want to define a dimension by a single moving point time is a dimension (which is mathematically valid of course), otherwise it is not. See my explanation with details above...
