To be fair, "Bruno's theory" is more a logical argument which starts from
the "standard materialist position" (consciousness being as at some level
digitally emulable, something which Bruno is agnostic about the truth of)
and shows the (rather surprising) consequences. It ends up with a physical
theory, I think, but that's more a consequence...
