There is the experiencer on the left, and there is the one on the right but there is no
experiencer that is half the person on the left and half the person on the right
How do you know this? Forget memories, suppose you an Terry had your brains wired together
so that you shared each others perceptions. What makes you think there would be two
perceivers? How do you know you aren't already two (or more) perceivers? Have you read
Dennett's multiple-drafts model of consciousness?
