Yeah the Patriot Acts and the FISA courts are illusions intended to
trick people into feeling safe, but does zero matetial good except
surrender freedoms that matter. Enhanced interogation in basically
suffocation torture, and theres no public evidence that it worked.
There are alternatives to the above and yes, here I go again, one of
them is if we fight, fight to win. Its not the only way to achieve
goals but taking it off the table to soothe one's nerves is no way to
survive. We can and should try other ways, but the Obama diplomacy
seems like something antithetical to producing more freedom and wealth.
But as you have pointed out, I am just a voice in the wilderness.
That's life, but the emporer, your emporer, has no clothes.
