OK I will: Bernie, it was foolish of you to cheat your customers, because of that you're broke, you lost your wife, you're sitting in jail and will remain there until you die, your son was so ashamed of you he killed himself and you are one of the most hated men on the planet. Your example don't make me want to follow in your footsteps and cheat my customers.

Bernie kept making money in "future days" and he's not sitting in jail because his reputation was trashed. In fact his reputation was good with most of his investors when he was arrested. He's in jail because we have laws against fraud.
