The heating of the seas is a Quranic prediction for the future.
The world as we know it is a trial for all humans, whether believers (muminoon) or rejecters (kuffaar). While alive, we all have the choice to choose whether we acknowledge, believe in and submit in gratitude to the One and Only, Almighty God or reject God's existence and/or obedience. This world will eventually end, irrespective of our faith and deeds. Those who believed in God and the Day of Reckoning, and accordingly strove to work for their eternal future, so that their balance is heavy with good deeds done with piety, will find themselves appreciated and accepted in God's mercy and grace, and will be admitted to the blissful, eternal Gardens as their inheritance. Those who chose to reject God and refuse to acknowledge and appreciate His countless blessings in this life, their deeds have been likened to a mirage, and their state compared to the depths of darkness of the ocean, such that a person can hardly see his own hand. On the Day of Reckoning, God will not bless them nor shower His grace upon them, and they will spend an eternal life in the Fire, neither living nor dying, removed from God's mercy.
Or as God wills.

That was true ... until you said it.

It's written all across the Quran.

I was not sure of that. I would not have dare to say that. If that is true, then what I say apply to the Quran, and that might not be a good point for the Quran.

Anyone can check for themselves.

I took the verse which looks like that as some form of koan or parable, which should not be taken literally. It was written in a "human, too much human" context. My reading of the koan makes me believe that it has not been written by the same person. The tone differs greatly from some verse to another verse. Also.

Whether they take it as divine communication or not is entirely up them. Our accepting or refusing it doesn't change the divine decree, law, plan and justice. However, it is our duty to inform others so those who wish might take the message seriously.

If God is as good as you seem to believe, why don't you trust Him for the communication?

Can't you see that when human claims truth about God, it ends in war, exploitations, dispute between big and little enders (cf Candide by Voltaire, which I would recommend to you).

To take one text too much seriously hides the God which hides behind the words. It is a sort of vanity sin, like my text is more authentic than yours. But all texts are only scratching on the surface, and brought with them the prejudice of their time. God intent might be lost in the process, especially when it becomes a tradition. Repeating the same words many times erode the sense of them.

Now, it will not work, as we are in a double constraint, and everyone (listen to what you say) might go to Hell, unless you find another way to make the message.

If God was able to distinguish those loving him genuinely, and those loving him for the selfish interest of not going to hell, he would not have create us at the start.

Trust God for the communication, and no one else.
All prophets are false prophets.
Like Lao-Ze seems to have understood, the wise stay mute.

Hell is paved with the good intentions.
