If everything is seen by yourself, only through the lens of Islam and its revealed truth, then yes, you will be suspicious of comments and such. If one unbounds the questions, the intellectually things expand. For example, one American philosopher goes everywhere to answer questions, in his searchings as long as his answers are mathematical, logical, rational. When all questions get answered by Allah, then, as in the 12th century, the questioning comes to a halt. This is one reason why Christian Europe surged ahead of the Arabs, and the Turks, with invention. China imploded under Imperial eddicts, and thus went into great decline.

I found Bruno's comp interesting. I didn't participate actively for quite sometime though. Later, when I did start participating and as discussions continued, I suggested that Quran is one scripture where one can also look for clues about creation. However, one conversation led to another and now any input from me is taken as a 'conversion to Islam' attempt. For example, this very thread on methane could have evolved as an academic discussion, yet it directly got connected with my other posts. I don't mind answering questions and sharing knowledge about my faith, but sometimes I do wish we could have some scientific discussion instead of shooting down anything I share or comment upon. Never mind. Maybe it was meant to be this way. Samiya On 17-Jul-2015, at 9:52 am, Pierz < [email protected]> wrote: I can't think of a better place to waste your breath than precisely on this forum. There is not a single person here who is in the slightest danger of conversion to any absolutist authority-based religion. We are all way too far gone down our own little philosophical goat-tracks to ever find our way back to such a highway. However, maybe I'm mistaken about your reason for being here? Perhaps it is you who is trying to find a little goat-path of your own, even while you think you're here to save us from the infidel incinerator... As believers have been led to guidance, one hopes that non-believers will also eventually come to faith. However, one can only share the message. To accept or reject is up to each individual. In fact, in the scripture, the Prophet is being consoled to not to worry so much why they refuse to believe, as God knows and decides who to grant faith to. Someday I hope you will be quoting the scriptures as often as you quote humans :) Samiya On 17-Jul-2015, at 1:48 am, meekerdb < [email protected]> wrote: On 7/16/2015 5:50 AM, spudboy100 via Everything List wrote: On the Day of Reckoning, God will not bless them nor shower His grace upon them, and they will spend an eternal life in the Fire, neither living nor dying, removed from God's mercy.
