As I distinctly recall, Weinberg uses "Multiverse" to refer to the string theory landscape, and he laments that if it exists, there will be no way to find a theory which explains quark masses. And Yes, I have made it clear several times here that when I use the term "Multiverse", I am referring to the landscape of string theory.
