*A long, long time ago, on a galaxy far, far away, Bruce gave a proof of irreversibility in principle for a spin 1/2 particle measured by a SG device. It seemed convincing. I cannot reproduce the argument from memory. So it might be the case that there's no general rule for irreversibility in principal versus statisitical irreversibility. I hope your links clarify the issue.
