If "existence" is a difference that makes no difference, then it is a meaningless concept altogether. If inherent properties such as the consciousness of a conscious object can no more be separated from the object than evenness could be removed from two, then just as two would be even whether or not it is abstract or instantiated, then conscious objects would still be conscious whether or not they were abstract or instantiated.
