I also think Trump's presidential ambitions may be gut shot but what the hell do I know, in early 2020 I thought Trump was just comic relief and the American people would never be stupid enough to vote for the man. I was right about that but unfortunately the American people don't have the right to decide who will be their Commander In Chief, only the 528 elite members of the electoral college have that right, and they *were* stupid enough to vote for Trump. > > so be happy! Regardless of who ends up winning the Republican primaries they are going to be brutal, and Trump has no loyalty to the Republican party or to anything else; so if Trump can't beat DeSantis in the primaries he'll do everything in his power to beat him in the general election and make sure he never gets to sit in the oval office, because by that time he'll hate DeSantis much more than he hates whatever Democrat ends up being the next president.
