On a 2.2 kernel once evo is running, hit the composer button, composer
shows up within 1 second or so.

On a 2.4 kernel composer takes at least 13 seconds to show up.

Running evo from the start is similar. 10 seconds on 2.2, 25 seconds on
2.4.


You can see the icons in the splash screen, display, pause 5 seconds,
display, pause 5 seconds etc on 2.4.  This is on a 900MHz thunderbird
with 256MB of ram.
