Resist the urge to allow them to characterize a small delay in receiving
any and every email (we're not talking about a non-received email here
really) is going to cause your company to go into chapter 11. Email at
the core isn't a reliable delivery mechanism, and so delays of several
hours are normal even without adding in the blackberry.

Subject: RE: Blackberry Desktop Manager causes Outlook 2k to start in

Ok I can see that....my guy's want everything..cause a non recieved
e-mail
is a lost deal which = $$$$$

YOu can do....
IF say you have folders under the inbox and rules in OL-Exch svr.... the
unit-device MUST be set to sync those "other folders" to get the mail

i.e. for me all of my Inbox I would get but the folder I have say for
this
list..with it associated rule to move the e-mail for the list's into the
folder...
I would NOT get those unless I told my device to do that folder....
So I must mark every/any sub folder i want in my inbox

Ahh - you see, you can choose what is and isn't redirected to the
handheld,
based on rules (similar to the rules wizard in Outlook).

I personally don't think the forward everything mentality is necessarily
beneficial. We have a number of users who forward messages from specific
DL's or specific users to their handhelds, and leave the rest of the
mail in
their regular inbox for processing when they're at a rich client.
