Make sure you turn off Messenger on the server itself, then restart the LCS services. There's a port conflict if Messenger is running.

I've added myself as a IM user, and show up correctly in the LCS admin add. Is there any way I can 'ping' the LCS server and make sure it's actually running, and check for connection problems?
