Messenger isn't installed on the server, and the messenger service is disabled.
As for creating the SRV record, what protocol information should I use? I see two options in Messenger 5.0, Exchange and SIP. From what I understand, SIP is used in LCS. BTW, the first error after the initial install of 5.0 is "An HTTPS or TCP connection could not be made. Please wait for your network administrator to correct this problem". This seems to say that it's not connecting for some reason...
