I'm aware of and understand the different backups methods.
Sure, incrementals are a pain to restore from and I avoid them.

Differentials on the other had, are not really a huge hassle in smaller
situations, you need the backup first set and the latest set.

I guess if the backup size spans several tapes it would be a hassle I
would want to avoid in a crisis.
