How exactly did you use the eseutil to repair your database? PSS never recommends leaving a database in production that has been hard repaired using eseutil. Once you have used that option, you should always run eseutil /d to defragment your existing database. The reason this is used is because one of the side effects is that it will create a new database for you.
Bottom line is that if you are experiencing problems due to using eseutil, you should probably get on the phone with PSS.
