Got this error in debug log today when trying to forward to new exchange
server

"Communications Error: Could not populate sockets address pack."

Then it sent through my original exchange server

Or, if you already own Windows 2000 the IIS SMTP service is a pretty
good smarthost/relay server, you can relay as many domains as you want
with it, and also configure it as your outbound smarthost.  This is, of
course, if you alredy have a license to spare.
