Have you verified that the ADC is running? Have you changed an attribute on
a properly connected mailbox and watched to see if it gets reflected on the
other side? Have you looked at the event log for any errors on the server
on which the ADC is running?

They are all in the default Recipient container.

That means that the ADC should try to replicate them. It'll skip ones that
have the ADC-Global-Names attribute filled in. These mailboxes aren't in a
different container, are they?

Thanks for replying! Since my last post I tried to do that, but when viewing
the raw properties of the mailbox the ADC-Global-Names attributes are not
set (blank). You can only see the object ADC-Global-Names if the view is set
to ALL.

I have also reinstalled the ADC (ex2ksp3 flavor), but I same results.

Probably related is 2 DL won't replicate to AD. A new DL will replicate just
fine.

Still digging!

I see what you're trying to do. Start Exchange 5.5 Administrator in Raw
Mode (admin /r). Open the raw properties of each disconnected mailbox
(Shift-Enter) and remove the ADC-Global-Names attribute. The next time the
ADC runs it should create a new disabled user or connect the mailbox to the
corresponding AD user.

I don't think I can do that. I don't have any E2k servers running. If I can
ever figure out this problem maybe I'll get to install one? I am just tying
to get these 8 Ex5.5 mailboxes synchronize with their AD accounts. I have 12
other remote Ex5.5 sites so I want to get this working correctly before
proceeding.

In ESM under the mailbox store list the mailboxes. Right-click one and
select to Reconnect.

Thanks for the reply. I did remove the Exchange attributes and restarted the
ADC.
That didn't work unfortunately. What exactly does reconnecting a mailbox
mean?

Try removing the Exchange attributes for one user and then reconnecting that

mailbox to the AD user. See if that then replicates properly.
