I have my OWA published through ISA and I have mine configured with the "Unihomed" template.
Works fine. I have my web server published and the OWA. I just configured more than one IP address on the single NIC so that I could create two SSL listeners one for our SSL Website and one for the OWA. You can publish all of the normal authentication modes, and the wizard will try to setup Forms based by default when you use the "Publish a mail server" wizard. Basically it will do all of the credentialing for you and pass it to the exchange server appropriately. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Boyd, Nathan Sent: Thursday, November 04, 2004 6:08 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: OWA and ISA Does anyone else use OWA on a stand alone ISA 2004 server that is not configured as a Firewall. I am planning on just using ISA to publish OWA. We have Checkpoint firewalls and currently we redirect from Checkpoint to OWA. My understanding of publishing OWA through ISA is that I can publish form based authentication directly from the ISA box, the communication between ISA and FE OWA would be SSL only with a certificate agreement. And I think that ISA understand OWA and is able to act as an external URL scan type function. It seems ISA as a standalone offers security improvements but most implementations are with ISA as a firewall. Experiences always appreciated.
