Yeah... we've got one for just that purpose.. but it's already allocated to
our "data dump" server... I've emailed my boss to see if we can get another
couple for just this purpose...

Have you considered getting an external USB HDD? For many small
businesses they make a lot more sense than backing up to tape and if you
later go with a more 'robust' backup solution those drives still can
serve a number of useful functions within an organization? We use a
number of those drives for backup (taking them off site on a rotating
schedule) and if an emergency arises we can repurpose one quickly for a
task such as dumping the CEO's laptop data in order to upgrade him to
the latest shiny machine.
