User A would like to share their Exchange calendar with user B. User B has an account in the domain but does not have an Exchange mailbox. When user A tries to share their calendar with user B, user B's name doesn't show up in the list of users. Is it possible for an Exchange user to share their calendar with someone who doesn't have an Exchange mailbox and if so, how?
On a related note, when you make a change in Active Directory Users and Computers, how long does it take before it becomes effective in Exchange? For example, if you change security on a mailbox, how long does it take before that change takes effect network-wide? If there is a lag, is there a way to force it to take effect immediately? I have Exchange 2003 (one front-end and one back-end) and my AD is on Server 2003. I have a single domain with two domain controllers. Thanks for your help.
