or better yet (maybe?) a separate but parallel mailbox. Give the second mailbox the POP3 account, have it deliver mail to PST, then give the first mailbox the ability to open the second.
And you'd also eliminate having a POP3 account and an Exchange account in the same mailbox. Of course there is the problem of a consistent return address, but maybe you could live with an approximation. --- Jean-Paul Natola <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > He > >wants the POP3 mail to go into PSTs without leaving > any traces in > >Exchange/Outlook? > > That is correct, > > So lets say you have an @verizon.net email account > you pop from- I DO NOT > want those messages to go in the mail store for our > organization. > > Lets say you're Verizon email let a virus/worm > through, if it goes into your > mailbox then that virus has just made its way inside > the network and onto the > server > > But it seems not to be possible , aside from having > a different profile. > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > On Behalf Of Albert > Duro > Sent: Tuesday, April 22, 2008 10:44 AM > To: Exchange Discussions > Subject: Re: EXCHANGE & POP in teh same profile > > This is getting confusing.
