Oh. You can blame it on Microsoft, sure. But you've got the wrong reason. EWS, which is used by Apple products, did not support personal archives until"later". I think it was sp2.
I would expect to see support in the next major release of Office for Mac. Specifically accessing ONLINE archive folders. Neither Entourage or Outlook 2011 will allow access to online personal archive. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/2003.clients-that-support-the-exchange-2010-personal-archive.aspx The more I think about this particular instance, the more I see it as a problem from Microsoft rather than Apple. Both Entourage and Outlook 2011 are Microsoft products. Why else would they have a product designed for a competitive operating system with limited features? The same with OWA on iP* devices. OWA will only show the LIGHT version on IOS devices, so you can't access the online personal archives. -Paul -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Michael B. Rant on... So I asked awhile back about why OWA wouldn't show archive folders on iP* devices. Now I find that neither Entourage or Outlook 2011 for Mac will either. What I fail to understand is why people are putting up with this B.S. from both Apple and Microsoft. Rant off... -Paul
