Yes. ask me tomorrow or Wednesday and I’ll track it down. But msft identifies
those partners who have submitted to certification and at what version.

Wow. Is that documented anywhere public?

Apple has an big problem with it’s implementation of AS and maybe Outlook 2011
is also not working correctly (features are not implemented) due to some design
flaws. In our case, Outlook 2010 and iOS devices, appointments can be “lost”
from the calendar after calendar sync. It’s open for more than a year with MS
and Apple, still no resolution.

Yes, but I think I have the right reason. ☹
Just another interesting point. OWA for iPad became available July 16th.
Shortly after that someone wrote an article saying that although it was made
for Office 365 you could configure it using the Advanced settings to access
your own OWA server. An update to this came out this month. Guess what? No
Advanced button anymore. Hmmm…

I said you can blame Microsoft. ☺

You can run Chrome or Firefox on Macintosh computers and get the full fidelity
OWA experience.

I don’t know what the issue is with Safari, but I know it has problems.

On the iOS devices, you should be able to install the OWA app. Or does that
just connect to Exchange 2013? (I really don’t know.)

Isn’t EWS also a Microsoft product? Exchange 2010 has been out for over 4
years. Outlook 2011 has almost been out almost 3 years. Am I wrong in
expecting both issues (Outlook 2011 and OWA) would have been discovered and
addressed in that length of time? IMHO it is a natural assumption that
Microsoft isn’t making this a priority. After all, why should they? They’re
not catching the heat from the users. It’s the admins that have to explain to
them why it doesn’t work, and they don’t like the answer.

Oh.

You can blame it on Microsoft, sure. But you've got the wrong reason. EWS,
which is used by Apple products, did not support personal archives
until"later". I think it was sp2.

I would expect to see support in the next major release of Office for Mac.

Specifically accessing ONLINE archive folders.
Neither Entourage or Outlook 2011 will allow access to online personal archive.
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/2003.clients-that-support-the-exchange-2010-personal-archive.aspx

The more I think about this particular instance, the more I see it as a problem
from Microsoft rather than Apple. Both Entourage and Outlook 2011 are
Microsoft products. Why else would they have a product designed for a
competitive operating system with limited features?

The same with OWA on iP* devices. OWA will only show the LIGHT version on IOS
devices, so you can't access the online personal archives.

Rant on...

So I asked awhile back about why OWA wouldn't show archive folders on iP*
devices. Now I find that neither Entourage or Outlook 2011 for Mac will either.
What I fail to understand is why people are putting up with this B.S. from both
Apple and Microsoft.

Rant off...
