Does it happen in the EMS? From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Candee Sent: Tuesday, September 2, 2014 3:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Exchange] Fwd: Exchange 2010 distro list
No; Outlook is pretty speedy. On Tue, Sep 2, 2014 at 3:14 PM, Michael B. Smith <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: Does this problem occur also in Outlook? I was hoping that was it! On Tue, Sep 2, 2014 at 2:01 PM, Michael B. Does your Application event 2080 look correct? Are the DCs shown in "*** Servers Servers Servers ***" $r = Get-ExchangeServer -Status $r | fl Name, Site, ServerRole, AdminDisplayVersion, Static*, Current* The proper ones? The help desk just brought this to my attention, and I have done some testing. Using the EMC, trying to add/remove members from the distribution list "members" tab. If the distro list contains contacts, the members can take 5 or more minutes to load the OUs - nothing can be done until they are finished loading. If the distro list only contains mailboxes, the tab loads almost immediately. It doesn't matter what OU the contacts are in; whether they're brand new or established. There is nothing in the event viewers; and I can't find anything on the interwebs. Any ideas what else to check? Thanks! Candee
