Trend and Sybari are treated very well here because A. They don't have salesweasels participating. B. They figured out that fighting with each other about whose product was better was not what we wanted to hear. C. They provided useful general non-product specific information. D. They provided specific useful product information. MicroEye, CDOlive, Commvault and a number of other vendors are also treated with a high level of respect. That doesn't mean we don't on occasion spank even our favorite vendors in this forum when they get out of line. I think there's a reason why vendors such as NAI and CA would be concerned they won't be treated very well. It has to do with reaping what one sows. Not that I've ever used a product from either vendor in production... Their reputation proceeds them.
