As with all political issues, tell them that, Yes I can provide the solution
you are asking for, but here are some substantial risks associated with it.
You may also want to provide some additional options. Then ask them how they
want to proceed knowing the risks.

Create a custom recipient representing his home account. Allow auto-forward
under the IMC.

This is not recommended, by the way: the potential for mail loops is large.
Better would be to give him external access to his mailbox.
