As the client-side application of the server I support I was forced to learn all of those little features. The help desk usually will pass "up" anything beyond the basics since we are considered the resident "experts". My advice is to simply learn everything you can, pass that info in writing to the help desk for future reference and then keep leaning on them to remember the usual fixes. In other words, teach your help desk to fish (not just eat fish tacos) and you might prevent some of those calls.

To me it would seem helpful to know all the toys/options/features in exchange's clients to test, and to implement new options to the users... but what if users call about client issues? would that be a helpdesk function? I'm just curious if your jobs combine supporting the client side as well as the server side. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] NOTICE: This e-mail message and any attachment to this e-mail message contains confidential information that may be legally privileged.
