Yes. How do you know you have a good backup? Is this an offline or online backup restore? What are the error messages?

However, when trying to do a restore it fails to mount the store, however when I try to do it on the console it will not allow me to. I've read the ms knowledge base regarding doing a hard re-mount but to no avail. Is it possible to blow away the information store, then try to restore from backup.
