That would be covered by your backup of the system state. You are backing up the system state, aren't you?

Instead, you *should* be checking the "Microsoft Exchange Directory" and "Microsoft Exchange Information Store" boxes. Checking those boxes will tell Backup Exec to back up the directory and the information store, respectively. If you do NOT see any of those boxes, then you do NOT have the Exchange agent installed.
