Hi all. I will be replacing an Exchange 2000 server. It started crashing all the time and it is a discontinued model (HP TC4100). And even if I could get another one like that I would not want an HP.
Is there a way to do setup.exe /disasterrecovery on a different hardware? I mean, in order to do /disasterrecovery, I would need to restore System State. But if I do that on different hardware, I will get a BSOD. Are there any workarounds for that? I have heard of one - copying HAL.DLL from old machine, but is it going to create any other problems? Thanks! _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
