Create a second information store on the same exchange server.  Move the
mailboxes to that store.  Un-mount the store you want to defrag.  Defrag
it.  Leave the mailboxes on the newly created store until the next time
you want to defrag.

It's a lot of work, but there is little downtime.  There will be a few
minutes where users might not be able to get to their individual mailbox
during the move, but it is better than dealing with the 4-8 hours of
down time.

Yesterday I had to run eseutil over a network (not advised but...)
Is there a way to syncronise the priv1.edb with the current state of
affairs? I have had users clean out a total of about 6GB but my
priv1.edb remains the same size as before (13.3 EDB AND 1.5 STR)?
